Absorbed the inner moment,
intensively engaged, engrossed
in soul creation; utterly required.
Deeply drawn to hidden depths,
places dark and wild, thus the
Self is sourced; thoroughly derived.
Frantic is the journey through,
fear walks by her side, as mind
is made eternal; divinity inspired.
WOW-good!
I suppose we all want our minds to be made eternal to satisfy our need for answers.
the inner journey is always ‘divinity inspired’…
This feels like a real effort to cast away any rocks along the path..to keeping moving forwards and looking up…divine writing…divine thought
The poem lives up to its title.. utterly divine! 🙂
The hidden depths of the mind are often dark and wild. Your poem expresses this idea very well.
fear walks by her side, as mind
is made eternal; divinity inspired.
Grace of the al-Mighty seems to smile over her. She should have felt the calming effects of the divinity protection. Well penned Roslyn!

Oh my, that is gorgeous 😀
There is a lyrical, rhythmic quality to this that is heavenly 🙂
I especially like the walking with the fear.. it takes courage to find the strength inside.
I was chanting through this divine poem…all these things bring us divinity…especially loved,
‘fear walks by her side, as mind
is made eternal; divinity inspired.’
A wonderful poem – your closing lines have special impact.
Very spiritual.
Yes… no mind…
meditation is the key – nourishes our soul, eventually our body
Beautiful and profound words. And I do agree with totomai.
Even and despite the fear, eternity is there! I love this moment in your poem: “thus the
Self is sourced.” “Derived” is lovely too as long as it isn’t confused with “derivative”! I live happily with the interaction between the mortal and the divine.
Derived in terms of soul creation, source of self, so I guess yes, derivative in terms of Soul.
I just changed that word after a reread and felt derived was more in line with what I was trying to say.
Very interesting look at the idea of creation.
